‘Ball in Indian govt’s court’. NSCN-IM sticks to separate flag & constitution demand

During ’76th Naga Independence Day’ celebration, NSCN-IM head Th. Muivah said Naga flag and constitution ‘unbreakable pieces of perceived power and exceptional history’ of Naga individuals.

Guwahati: The freedom National Socialist Council of Nagaland-Isak Muivah (NSCN-IM) Sunday emphasized that it would be staying by its interest for a different flag and constitution.

“The Naga flag and constitution are inseparable pieces of the perceived power and one of a kind history. We trust the Indian chiefs, as well, figure out it,” Thuingaleng Muivah, NSCN-IM’s ato kilonser (and that implies top state leader), expressed Monday at the “76th Naga Independence Day” at Camp Hebron.

“The ball is presently in the court of the Government of India to take the smart action and to satisfy the responsibility given to the Nagas,” Muivah said, adding that a truce without political dealings held no significance.
