Assam: Six bombs recovered in Sonitpur

TEZPUR: Security powers in Sonitpur locale of Assam have recuperated upwards of six carefully assembled bombs, police said on Thursday.

The bombs were recuperated from under the Chirajuli span on Public Expressway 15 in Dhekiajuli region in Assam’s Sonitpur locale, said a police official.

The explosives were recuperated by a joint watching group of the Military and Assam police. The explosives were subsequently disarmed.

It is thought that aggressors put the bombs under the extension to upset harmony in front of the happy season.

No aggressor association has up to this point asserted liability regarding the movement.
