Assam Rifles CO, wife, son and four personnel killed in Manipur ambush
New Delhi: On Saturday, in probably the deadliest assault in the new past in the Northeast, the Commanding Officer of the 46 Assam Rifles, Colonel Viplap Tripathi, his significant other, their eight-year-old child, and four warriors were killed in a snare by political dissidents in the difficulty inclined Churachandpur area of Manipur, near the Indo-Myanmar line.
