
Assam: Three killed in attack by DNLA freedom fighters, eight others injured

Two among the three departed were townspeople – – 44-year-old Ramsen Langthasa and 38-year-old Amal Goswami.
The third departed individual was recognized as 20-year-old Aprash Langthasa and was a recently selected unit of DNLA.
As per the Dima Hasao region police, some DNLA freedom fighters on Monday had gotten six regular folks from Langting town to their assigned camp situated in Kasmaiur region close to Maibong.
Local people of Langting region said that the DNLA units had gotten six residents from their home by pointing weapons at them and their families and thumped hardheartedly at the camp by the DNLA frameworks, bringing about the demise of two of them.
Indranil Baruah, Extra Administrator of Police (ASP) of Dima Hasao Locale said that, yesterday at around 3:30 am, four DNLA units emerged from their assigned camp and got six people from adjacent Langting region and beat them up savagely.
