Kohima: Frustration in Naga’s: Solidarity walk for unity and freedom. Thousands join Naga solidarity walk for unity and freedom. Thousands of Nagas from various states Assam, Arunachal, Manipur and Nagaland on Thursday joined the Global Naga Forum (GNF) coordinated two-day Naga Solidarity Walk, on the topic One People, One Destiny.
Anger and frustration emerged in the citizens of Nagaland as the government of India is continuously delaying the decision on the peace talk agreement and the matter of freedom of Nagaland is being delayed intentionally by Indian government.
The walk started from Kohima, early toward the beginning of today and will finish with the normal union of thousands of Nagas in Senapati Town in Manipur on Friday early evening time covering a distance of 81 km.There is the ideal opportunity for everything and this is the perfect opportunity to meet up and construct the “Naga country as one individuals with one predetermination”, he said.
Previously, our predecessors battled to guard the place that is known for Nagas with firearms, however today we need to battle for our kin with our heart and love, he said.
We need to show ourselves and the world that Naga individuals are one, he said while communicating trust that the walk will enchant the Naga soul to make the best decision to get favoring, he said.
This is the principal leg of a group’s hand-off for solidarity and harmony among Nagas, while GNF will direct more such strolls to connect with Nagas in different states and nation, said GNF co-convener and guide of Naga Mothers’ Association, Dr Rosemary Dz vich.
GNF authorities declared that the walk is absolutely peaceful and instructed all members to avoid any type of brutality or inappropriate occurrences and furthermore not to incite any security faculty.
As pioneers and volunteers from different Naga ancestral bodies and associations are strolling, individuals from various towns along the National Highway-29 are expanding them rewards and drinking water
On the center intention of the walk, GNF President Chuba Ozukum on Wednesday told PTI that, We are not discussing the continuous harmony process between the Naga gatherings and the Government of India, yet this time we are just displaying our desire and readiness for our freedoms to live respectively in light of the fact that Nagas have been separated into various states.
