SOREPA calls general strike on Oct 15
IMPHAL, Oct 9: The Social-ist Revolutionary Party (SOREPA) Kangleipak has called a general strike all over Kangleipak/Manipur from 5 am to 5 pm of October 15 against alleged colonisation of Manipur by India on Octo-ber 15, 1949. No Nation/community which is not independent can take part in the race for de-velopment. Nations can march forward only when there is individual freedom and National independence, A press release issued by SOREPA publicity secretary MC Yaiphabi. It said that the post Sec-ond World War neo-colonialism can be un-derstood by studying how India’s neo-colonialism based on Hindu feudalism was spread in WESEA and South Asia. India is a land of Aryans and it does not grant free-dom to non-Hindu people, it alleged. It said that there is a non-negotiable social difference between the Aryan peoples of India and the Mongoloid people of WESEA. Whereas the Government of India has been forcefully occupying Kashmir, Khalistan and WESEA in-cluding Kangleipak, Prime Minister Narendra recently advised Russian President Putin that it was not time for war. It was an act of utter shamelessness and it only exposed India’s double-standard, the outfit alleged. It then asked whether the Government of India can conceal its undeclared war in Kashmir. According to SOREPA, a particular community could not join the race for develop-ment until setting freedom while a nation will move to the path of development in the right perspective if both the individual and commu-nity have freedom. However, it is questionable as to how 565 independent kingdoms of South East Asia (WESEA) and South Asia are surviving at present after the British left and it is the responsibility of the colonised WESEA people to understand how India was formed after forcible merger of the independent kingdoms. Understanding and tackling neo-colonialism being spread after the end of World War II would be easy if we study how India’s neo-colonialism based on Hindu feudalism spread to WESEA and South Asia.
IMPHAL: In denunciation of the alleged forcible merger of Kangleipak/Manipur to India, the armed Socialist Revolutionary Party (SORE-PA), ICangleipak has imposed general strike on October 15 effective from Sam to 5pm. The general strike, howev-er, will not cover movement relating to fire, electricity, water supply, medicine, reli-gious ceremonies and media, SOREPA publicity secretary MC Yaiphabi informed in a statement, adding that the outfit will extend support to general strike, total shutdown, boycott rail of other under-ground groups on the day. Apart from informing peo-ple about the general strike, the SOREPA statement also honoured people and placed its views on the merger to p Hie for discussion.
